Paul Joyner:

Paul has broad general management experience with retail, business to business and consultancy organisations. However, his main areas of interest are the practical strategies for competitive advantage and growth, (customer centric, brand aligned and value creating); developing and marketing the customer proposition and the management challenges of driving new initiatives and change throughout an organisation.

Paul has a relatively unusual mix of the strategic and pragmatic and his experience with private equity management has given him some interesting insights into the management of businesses, in particular the discipline of running a business for cash, and generating working capital to drive the growth agenda.

Recently, Richard has worked with both Alexon and MFI. The latter in conjunction with Private Equity, where he played a key role in both the acquisition and subsequent reorganisation of the business.

His many experiences have included working through past boom and recession and with private equity, business sale and IPO. Richard has a strong track record of delivery of major projects and providing efficient and effective portfolio asset management. He is an excellent communicator and project manager and comfortable working at the most senior level.
